Ashfield Engage welcomes Jenny Reid-Young as Global Vice President, Medical Information
Ashfield Engage, an Inizio company, is pleased to announce the addition of Jenny Reid-Young to its Medical Information team, serving as Global Vice President. In this position reporting to Amy Van Sant, President, Medical Affairs, Jenny will play a critical role in scaling Ashfield Engage’s Medical Information services to meet the global needs of customers and clients by developing and executing on strategy to drive innovative, digital Medical Information solutions.
The healthcare industry is evolving and Medical Information within the broader role of Medical Affairs will play a pivotal role in this evolution. Ashfield Engage understands that the industry is transforming, and pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical device companies need a partner who can operate at an enterprise level to provide insights driven by customer and market data which will facilitate and actively contribute to client strategy. The increasing importance of leveraging patient and HCP insights gleaned from Medical Information services has led the pharmaceutical industry to seek integrated, quality-based and dynamic global solutions. Adding the global expertise of Jenny to its pre-existing HCP engagement services uniquely positions Ashfield Engage to partner at an enterprise level with life sciences companies to internationally align their Medical Information model.
Prior to joining Ashfield Engage, Jenny spent more than 17 years in Medical Information designing and delivering multilingual Medical Information teams across Europe, MEA, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Americas. Within her leadership position, Jenny worked directly with clients to enable, expand, and evolve services and strategies. She was involved with the integration of several Pharmacovigilance (PV) acquisitions in Europe and supported the globalization of PV services.
With her strong global background, Jenny understands the local and regional complexities that drive the solution design in creating bespoke, dynamic, omnichannel solutions to meet individual client requirements. Ashfield Engage’s international footprint, along with its many contact center locations, provides Jenny and her team with the agility to tailor Medical Information programs to meet the evolving needs of its clients throughout the globe.

Jenny obtained her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological Sciences form Bristol University. She sits on the board of a social enterprise charity supporting adults with a wide range of abilities in practical, work orientated therapeutic activities.
